BIGBANG is gearing up for a comeback by opening recruitment for their official fan club!
On May 1st around 8 PM, the group shared a “BIGBANG OFFICIAL 6th V.I.P COMING SOON” poster across their official channels to announce the news.
This marks the first fan club recruitment in about 11 years since the 5th generation in 2015. It is especially meaningful as BIGBANG has now restructured into a trio following the departures of T.O.P and Seungri.
The revealed poster features the “Bangbong” (BIGBANG’s official lightstick), symbolizing the strong bond between BIGBANG and their fandom, V.I.P.
The 6th generation recruitment will take place through the BIGBANG official community on the global fandom platform bstage. Regarding this, YG Entertainment stated, “We have prepared the official fan club recruitment to breathe closer with the fans who have protected the name BIGBANG for a long time.” They added, “Please look forward to the new journey of the 20th anniversary that the artists and V.I.P will write together.”
