“I Shouldn’t Have Left!” Stars Most Likely to Regret Leaving Their Groups: NewJeans’ Danielle and SNSD’s Jessica Make the List

LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam, NewJeans’ Danielle, and Girls’ Generation’s Jessica have been named as the stars most likely to regret leaving their groups.

On the 11th, the community site DC Inside conducted a poll titled “Which star is most likely to regret leaving their team?” and Kim Garam took first place.

With 3,527 votes (20%) out of a total of 17,809, Kim Garam, a former member of the girl group LE SSERAFIM, left the team following school bullying allegations from her middle school days. After staying out of the public eye, Kim Garam recently shared updates through her own YouTube channel.

Danielle took second place with 3,451 votes (20%). Danielle, who gained global popularity as a member of NewJeans, shocked fans when her exclusive contract was terminated due to conflicts with her agency, ADOR. Reportedly facing a lawsuit for damages from ADOR, Danielle later shared her feelings with fans via an SNS live broadcast.

Jessica was selected for third place with 2,443 votes (14%). Since leaving Girls’ Generation in 2014, Jessica has balanced her career as a solo singer and her fashion business. After placing second in a Chinese audition program and reportedly preparing for a girl group debut, Jessica recently caught attention by singing Girls’ Generation songs during her solo concert.

T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) came in fourth. A member of BigBang who enjoyed global fame, T.O.P halted his activities following a marijuana smoking controversy and effectively left the group by distancing himself from the team.

Fifth place went to former FIFTY FIFTY member Aran. Aran left the group following a contract dispute with her agency shortly after FIFTY FIFTY’s global hit “Cupid.”

Others on the list included Saena, Sio (FIFTY FIFTY), and Jang Gyuri (fromis_9).
