(G)I-DLE leader Jeon Soyeon visited a temple to clear her mind and take some time for herself.
On the 1st, a video titled “Temple Stay” was uploaded to the channel ‘Sonyeo Soyeon Baekseo’. In the video, Jeon Soyeon shared her excitement, saying, “This is my first time doing a temple stay. I’ve visited temples often, but it’s my first time spending a whole day there.”
Upon arriving, she wore a provided vest and received orientation in the Dharma hall. She then shared her experience eating temple food. Having previously mentioned on various shows that she struggles with eating vegetables, Jeon Soyeon brought laughter to viewers as she looked flustered by the vegetarian menu but tried her best to eat.
Jeon Soyeon also surprised fans by ringing the temple bell and attempting the “108 bows.” After completing them, she shared, “I was okay. I think it was fine because I bowed slowly one by one. The person next to me was sweating, though.” She also showed off her down-to-earth charm by removing her makeup and applying a mask pack for her tired skin.

Regarding her experience, Jeon Soyeon said, “It was so good that it was worth spending a whole day. I felt healed thanks to the fresh air in the mountains.” She added, “I’ve been wearing the prayer beads I made that day every day. Maybe because I made them myself, I feel proud and happy.”
