Yoon Jung-soo shared a candid story about how he lost his apartment in Cheongdam-dong.
Yoon Jung-soo appeared on the tvN STORY show ‘Namgyeoseo Mwohage’ on the 11th.
Recalling his days in the restaurant business, he revealed, “I operated four restaurants for two and a half years and made 20 billion won at the time. That’s why I bought an apartment in Cheongdam-dong, which cost 2 billion won back then.”
He added, “I then expanded to 14 locations. But losing money happens twice as fast. If you make 20 billion won in two or three years, you can lose 20 billion won in the same amount of time. I didn’t go bankrupt because of the restaurants; what I lost was due to a guarantee. I lost the apartment because I stood as a guarantor. No one is just suddenly struggling when the house is gone. By the time the house is gone, things have been a mess for one or two years. You only truly admit failure the moment the house is transferred.”
