The movie ‘Kidnapped 48 Hours’ follows the 48-hour struggle of Do-jun (Nam Woo-hyun), a former aspiring national Taekwondo athlete, to rescue his mother Mi-jin (Park Eun-hye) after she is kidnapped by the largest crime syndicate in the Philippines. The film captures vivid action and exotic landscapes through on-location filming in Manila.

In the film, Nam Woo-hyun plays Park Do-jun, a son who settled in the Philippines after giving up on his dreams. Driven by loyalty and a strong sense of justice, he undergoes an intense action transformation, risking his life to save his kidnapped mother.

Nam Woo-hyun, who debuted as the main vocalist of Infinite in 2010, successfully entered acting through the MBC drama ‘The 1000th Man’. He has since built an impressive filmography across various stages and works, including the KBS drama ‘High School Love On’ and musicals such as ‘The Days’, ‘Mephisto’, ‘Jack the Ripper’, ‘Bloody Love’, and ‘Sugar’. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new side of him he will reveal in this role.

Actor Han Jae-seok joins the cast as the cold-blooded villain Cha Dong-cheol, who threatens the mother and son. Playing the head of the largest Korean crime organization in the Philippines, Han Jae-seok maximizes the tension with his ruthless charisma, creating a sharp confrontation with Nam Woo-hyun. The cast also includes actors Kim Ok-ju and Kim Ji-oh, as well as Filipino star Yassi Pressman.

The released main poster sparks curiosity by showcasing the complex relationships between the three characters alongside the powerful caption, “The final showdown for my mom, I’ll end it.” The accompanying trailer promises a thrilling sense of catharsis, featuring Do-jun’s impactful action as he swiftly overpowers his enemies and the fast-paced conspiracy of a massive organization.
