
Model and actress Kang Seung-hyun (38) has shared a touching message after the passing of her beloved father.
On May 11, Kang Seung-hyun posted a lengthy and emotional message on her social media, expressing, “Thanks to the comfort from so many people, I was able to send my dad off well.”
She shared, “Although I couldn’t reply to everyone individually, I found immense comfort reading every single message and sentiment you sent.” She also asked fans, “Please pray with me that my dad, who suffered from a chronic illness for a long time, will now find peace in that place.”
She then penned a deeply moving message to her father, saying, “Now, don’t lose your way, arrive at a good place, and there, eat all the delicious things you couldn’t eat before to your heart’s content, climb the mountains you loved with your own two feet, wear all the wonderful clothes you want, live well, and then let’s meet again.” This message truly tugged at heartstrings.
It was previously reported on May 6 that Kang Seung-hyun had suffered the loss of her father. She has since completed the funeral proceedings with her family.
Kang Seung-hyun first rose to fame in 2008 as the first Asian winner of the Ford Supermodel of the World competition, subsequently making a significant impact in the global fashion scene. She later expanded her career into acting, starring in films like ‘Believer’, ‘Homme Fatale’, and ‘Believer 2’, as well as dramas such as ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’, ‘The Cursed’, and ‘My Holo Love’.
