Yoo Jae Suk, Byeon Woo Seok, and More! Get Ready for the Chaos in Netflix's 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp'

Netflix’s new variety show ‘Yoo Jae Suk Camp’ has just dropped its main poster and trailer, promising a wild escape from daily life!

In this show, the irreplaceable Yoo Jae Suk puts aside his smooth hosting skills to become a slightly clumsy beginner camp director. ‘Yoo Jae Suk Camp’ is set to be a large-scale camp where everyone lives and suffers together, bringing plenty of laughter and special joy. Fans are especially excited since it is a new “B&B variety show” from PD Jung Hyo Min’s team, who previously gained love for the unpredictable ‘Gian84’s’ B&B show.

The main poster and trailer give us a glimpse into the “full course” of fun awaiting at ‘Yoo Jae Suk Camp.’ The poster features Camp Director Yoo Jae Suk on a podium, surrounded by staff members whose expressions capture a whole range of emotions. The ad balloon in the sky, reading “The guest is king, and I am also king,” definitely piques our curiosity.

The trailer catches our attention with the high-energy welcome from Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun. The excitement builds as we see a 3-day, 2-night schedule packed 24 hours a day with various programs.

From wake-up missions the moment they open their eyes to morning yoga, steel briefcase quizzes, campfires, talent shows, outdoor experiences, and Manito, the schedule is absolutely jam-packed. We also get to see the chaotic “beginner CEO” Yoo Jae Suk and his staff rushing to get everything done.

The cast brings a lot of flavor: Lee Kwang Soo is the “discipline leader” in charge of the guests’ laughter and order; Byeon Woo Seok, stepping away from his top actor image, is the sweet and caring “Heodang Daegun” (Clumsy Great Prince) with an unexpected clumsy charm; and Ji Ye Eun, the youngest but the only one with actual B&B experience, is the “Bestie Maker” building deep bonds with guests. We can’t wait to see the touching and funny moments from their chaotic camp management diary.

Adding to the hype is the appearance of the power couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon. Joining as super-special part-timers, they will lead morning yoga sessions for the guests and show off their veteran “B&B pioneer” skills.

PDs Jung Hyo Min, Lee So Min, and Hwang Yun Seo shared, “The slogan ‘The guest is king, and I am also king’ was decided by Yoo Jae Suk himself, based on the idea that staff should also be respected.” They added, “As filming progressed, the staff began complaining about the high-intensity schedule, and the gap between the slogan and reality became another funny point.”

They further explained their vision: “We wanted to naturally evoke everyone’s camp memories while creating a ‘fantasy space’ that wouldn’t exist in reality. We structured it around a real retreat timetable but added contents that only ‘Yoo Jae Suk’ could pull off, like cushion quizzes or steel briefcase games, to add fantasy to the nostalgia.”

‘Yoo Jae Suk Camp’ is a group camp variety show where beginner director Yoo Jae Suk and the unpredictable staff Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun help guests escape their daily lives through non-stop chatting, playing, and fooling around. It premieres on Netflix on the 26th.
