UNITE, now in their 4th year and having found a new home with K-pop label Para Music, is back to make their presence felt in the music industry with a “perfect pose.”
On the afternoon of the 12th, a showcase for UNITE’s 8th mini album, ‘Inyeon Part 1,’ was held at the Nol Theater Hapjeong Tongyang Life Hall in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Standing on stage, the members shared their thoughts on the comeback, saying, “We prepared this album with a positive mindset. We hope this becomes an opportunity to let more people know who we are.”
The new album ‘Inyeon Part 1’ tells a story about ‘Inyeon’ (connection), which doesn’t easily break even across different positions, situations, and time zones. They expressed the feeling of connection, something that exists between fate and coincidence, as ‘Inyeon,’ and captured the moment different beings reach the same space and become one through UNITE’s unique music and performance.

Regarding this, the members said, “We started with the feeling of preparing everything all over again. We felt refreshed and prepared even more passionately.”
They added, “We tried to communicate more with the company than before. They actively listened to our opinions, which made the preparation process really fun.”
However, it was disappointing that member Eun Sang, who is currently on hiatus, was absent again. While there were concerns since this is the first album created by 7 members, they all agreed, “Because we wanted to do even better, the members talked a lot and worked hard to prepare.”
After the photo op, UNITE showcased the music video and a live performance of the title track ‘Pose!’, capturing everyone’s attention with a flawless performance that filled the venue. Their mature facial expressions and stage chemistry, befitting artists in their 5th year, kept the audience glued to the stage.
‘Pose!’ captures a single ‘pose’ where two different worlds overlap within one frame. The subtitle ‘Jatae’ (姿態) refers to the way a being is revealed and the form of the moment it is recognized, vividly depicting the instant an invisible connection becomes visible.
Additionally, the performance, highlighted by restrained energy, dense sound, and delicate expression, showed a different side of UNITE and expanded their universe.
Immediately after the stage, Hyung Seok and Steve said, “This is a song we’ve prepared for a long time since it’s been a while since our last comeback. We’re happy that we were able to show it successfully.” They added, “It feels like a weight has been lifted. We really want to show it to our fans soon.”

In particular, this album visually expands the way existence is revealed through the two states of ‘In’ and ‘Yeon.’ The flow from a blurry state before being recognized to the form of the moment of recognition is melted into a single language across costumes, performance, visuals, music, and the overall stage.
Regarding the album, UNITE expressed their ambition, saying, “We want to show that our musicality has become more solid.” They added, “It’s not decided yet, but after discussing it with the company, we might prepare ‘Inyeon Part 2’.”
They also showed confident vibes by giving the new album a perfect 10 out of 10.
The new album will be released on various music sites today at 6 PM.
