Group YOUNITE has reached a new turning point with their first comeback after moving to a new agency. They are opening a brand new chapter with their latest release, ‘INYUN Part.1’.
On the afternoon of the 12th, a media showcase for YOUNITE (Eunho, Steve, Eunsang, Hyungseok, Uno, DEY, Kyungmoon, Sion) was held at the NOL Theater Hapjeong Tongyang Life Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their 8th mini album, ‘INYUN Part.1’.
Returning after nine months, YOUNITE shared, “Since we had a long hiatus, we prepared really hard. We hope fans love it as much as we put into it.” They added, “We want to run toward even bigger dreams with a positive mindset for this promotion.”
They further explained, “This was the first album prepared by seven members, but since Eunsang needs time to recover, he decided to take a break during this comeback schedule. Because of the gap, the rest of the members tried to put in even more effort so that nothing would be missing.”
Describing the new album ‘INYUN Part.1’, YOUNITE introduced it as “an album that marks a new turning point.” ‘INYUN Part.1’ tells a story about ‘INYUN’ (connection), which remains unbroken despite different locations, situations, and time zones. They expressed the feeling of connection, something that exists between fate and coincidence, and captured the moment different beings reach the same space and become one through YOUNITE’s unique music and performance.
The title track ‘POSE! (姿態)’ captures a single ‘pose’ where two different worlds overlap within one frame. The subtitle ‘Jatae’ (姿態) refers to the way a being is revealed and the form of the moment it is recognized, vividly depicting the instant an invisible connection becomes visible.
Regarding ‘POSE!’, which showcases a more solid performance and YOUNITE’s distinct musicality, the group emphasized, “We prepared this song with the determination to show a new YOUNITE, different from before, through dense sound, restrained energy, and performance.”
In addition to ‘POSE! (姿態)’, the album features a total of five tracks that prove YOUNITE’s deepened musical direction: ‘Parallel Line’, which stands out with intense Rage Hyper energy; ‘Savior’, capturing the moment of breaking through closed boundaries and limits; ‘Nothing’, revealing the will to run toward someone while wavering between anxiety and certainty; and ‘So Alive’, a fan song that honestly conveys the promise to never let go of each other even in moments of collapse.
They added, “We will also show a sophisticated, gentle, and cool side. We think the specific achievement of this comeback will be making the name YOUNITE widely known. We want to let everyone know that our songs are great and that we have outstanding skills.”
Meanwhile, YOUNITE’s 8th mini album ‘INYUN Part.1’ will be released today (12th) at 6 PM through various music sites.
