Former soccer player and entertainer Lee Chun-soo’s daughter, Ju-eun, is stealing the spotlight with her flawless English interviewing and interpretation skills!
On the 11th, a video titled “My daughter stood in front of the camera for the first time” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Lee Chun-soo [Lee Chun-soo]’.
In the video, Lee Chun-soo visited a soccer stadium with his children to celebrate Children’s Day. Everyone was surprised to learn that Ju-eun would be the special interpreter for the preview show, interviewing Jeju SK FC manager Sergio Costa in English.
Instead of being nervous, Ju-eun remained calm, saying, “I’ll do my best.” She also shared her excitement, mentioning, “I think this is the best Children’s Day ever.”

Ju-eun perfectly handled the interview, asking Manager Costa about the Korean words he’s recently learned and his feelings about the lack of rest. Lee Chun-soo watched his daughter with a proud smile, even bragging, “Please tell them she’s my daughter!” Upon finding out, Manager Costa was surprised and shook hands with Lee Chun-soo. When Ju-eun asked, “Don’t we look alike?” the manager agreed.
Lee Chun-soo later admitted, “I was so happy,” fully embracing his “daughter-fool” side. It was also revealed through a conversation with her mother, Shim Ha-eun, that Ju-eun is currently studying Spanish as well.

Lee Chun-soo married former model Shim Ha-eun in 2012 and has one son and two daughters. His eldest daughter, Ju-eun, previously made headlines for her academic achievements, including being accepted into the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program and scoring a perfect mark on the AP Psychology exam.
Netizens are showering Ju-eun with support, commenting, “Lee Chun-soo must feel so proud he doesn’t even need to eat,” “Lee Chun-soo created a miracle,” “Ju-eun is great at English, but her personality seems so lovely,” “Lee Chun-soo is overcoming the language barrier frustrations from his time in Spain through his child,” “She doesn’t just know English; she has a real sense for conversation,” and “Ju-eun was raised so well.”
