George has had an awakening on ‘Dolsing N Mosol’!
In the May 12th episode of MBC Every1 and E Channel’s dating show ‘연애기숙학교 돌싱N모솔’ (hereafter ‘Dolsing N Mosol’), we saw a renewed George and the complicated, crossing feelings of the participants.
During the episode, Camellia opened up about her honest feelings, admitting she had thought she was the one Su-geum-ji-hwa liked. She also shared her sadness with Bul-na-bang.
Meanwhile, Hyun-mu finished his date with Sun-mu while discussing his disappointments with other participants. Sun-mu revealed, “I chose Hyun-mu because I felt sorry,” which left George feeling hurt, saying, “I guess there were no sorry feelings for me.” Later, Hyun-mu confessed in an interview that he is growing more fond of Camellia.
Rookie claimed to have been proactive with flirting toward Bul-na-bang. However, when asked if Rookie had expressed interest, Bul-na-bang reacted with confusion, saying, “I’m not really sure.”
Later, the participants had dinner together. George, who had dominated the atmosphere the previous day with history stories, caught everyone’s eye by being much quieter. He expressed his disappointment toward the female participants, saying, “I feel like no one is interested in me.” To this, Bul-na-bang responded, “You looked like you were in a bad mood, so I was cautious about talking to you.”
When George revealed his inner thoughts, wondering why he hadn’t been chosen twice in a row, Ping-pong advised, “I think your character was revealed too quickly. There was little room for the other person to be curious.” George replied, “Whenever a blind date doesn’t go well, I tend to analyze the reason. I try to look at myself objectively.” Ping-pong added, “Dating is a process of getting to know each other, but George gives the impression that he only talks about himself. It seems necessary to show more interest in the other person’s stories.”
As the mood lightened, Nak-hwa-yu-su stepped forward and began to sing, quickly making the atmosphere cheerful. George suddenly joined the stage and sang along passionately. He even took Nak-hwa-yu-su’s phone to lead the vibe, leaving the MCs laughing and bewildered by his unexpected behavior.
Back at the lodging, Bul-na-bang seemed concerned, noting, “Anyone can see that Rookie wants Du-jjon-ku.” She then made a bold declaration: “I’m going to go straight for Rookie.”
Meanwhile, Sun-mu expressed difficulty in approaching someone, saying, “This is my first relationship, and she’s a divorcee; isn’t that a flaw in itself?” The MCs encouraged them, asking, “How is being a divorcee a flaw?”
George asked, “What would you do if Du-jjon-ku had a child?” Su-geum-ji-hwa showed strong determination, saying, “I would persuade my parents somehow. This is a first love I don’t want to miss. I’m also confident about long distance. I want to go all the way to marriage, no matter the sacrifice.” George acknowledged this, saying, “Make sure you get married. I can see the determination in your eyes.”
Su-geum-ji-hwa woke up early the next morning, stating, “I want to get a definite answer from Du-jjon-ku among the competitors.” MC Kim Poong observed, “Now is the time to keep appealing, not to get a definite answer.”
Sun-mu, who had been feeling unwell, eventually burst into tears. He appealed, “I think it’s a complex struggle both mentally and physically. I don’t think I can handle the schedule. I’m sorry.” He revealed, “Having experienced a similar program before, I think I’m exhausted by various emotions.” Ultimately, Sun-mu took a break from the schedule.
George declared, “The real game starts today,” as he applied sunscreen, put on a denim jacket, and styled his hair. Regarding the jacket, he explained, “I went to a department store with my mother and spent a lot of money on it.”
Next, the participants’ heart rates were measured. It was a game where a man and woman held hands and looked into each other’s eyes for one minute. Hyun-mu’s heart rate spiked in front of Camellia. After the measurements, the female participants agreed, “George held hands the most stably.” George boldly held the women’s hands and even patted them.
Finally, the results were out. Rookie and Maeng-kkong’s hearts beat for Du-jjon-ku; Hyun-mu and George’s hearts beat for Camellia; and Su-geum-ji-hwa and Nak-hwa-yu-su’s hearts beat for Seoul-jwi. Camellia chose Maeng-kkong, Bul-na-bang chose Nak-hwa-yu-su, and Du-jjon-ku chose George. Surprised by Du-jjon-ku’s result, MC Chae Jung-an joked, “Did he threaten her while holding hands? Or did he stimulate a pressure point because he knows acupuncture?”
