“Single’s Inferno 5” star Choi Mina-su ranked 2nd in the application video evaluation, while idol stylist Challmi caused a stir by taking off her top.
The first episode of tvN’s ‘Kill It: Style Creator Great War’ (hereafter ‘Kill It’) aired on the 12th, revealing the intense first round of the competition.
The final appearance of the day was Choi Mina-su from “Single’s Inferno 5,” who stated, “I came here to show everyone who Choi Mina-su is.” However, Yeo Yeon-hee commented, “She looked the same as she does on screen. Fresh. But I wouldn’t call it ‘fashion,'” and Yoo Ye-rin added, “She was just pretty and charming. I can only think of her yellow dress.”
With 100 participants gathered, the leaders of the three labels were revealed. Black Label consists of Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Jong-won, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun; White Label features Cha Jung-won and Shin Hyun-ji; and Red Label is led by Ahn Ah-reum and Yang-gaeng. The first mission, where half the participants will be eliminated, is the Style War. The goal is to complete a look using only the clothes in their suitcases and get as many photos taken as possible by 40 photographers. Additionally, labels create a casting board of 6 people they want to recruit, which adds a 5% bonus score.

Based on the application video evaluation for style room assignments, Choi Mina-su ranked 2nd and Nayawashi took 1st. Choi Mina-su admitted, “I was a bit flustered to be 2nd.” As the first half of Round 1 began, only 8 people could be on stage at a time. The first challenger, Yoyo, caught attention with a performance of putting on shoes on stage. Yeo Yeon-hee dominated the scene with her model aura, prompting Shin Hyun-ji to admire, “Models really are different.” On the other hand, Jung Ri-ah, sister of Huening Kai, wasn’t chosen by a single photographer and confessed, “I don’t think I’ll ever get over the shock.”
When Choi Mina-su took the stage, Jang Yoon-ju and Lee Jong-won both agreed she was “charming,” and Shin Hyun-ji noted, “Her buzz is huge, and her poses are bold.” Distracted by Tiara Torelli’s sequin dress, Choi Mina-su said, “All my attention was going there, and I didn’t want to just stay as I was. It would hurt my pride,” and prepared another outfit.
Kim Geum-won grabbed attention by crawling up the runway. Meanwhile, Kim Ji-yoon, sister of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, confessed, “I lay down immediately because I wanted to show an impressive side, but I was so flustered. I didn’t know they wouldn’t take photos like this.”

Just as the photographers were getting tired, Dasha appeared with a concept of a celebrity disgusted by paparazzi, and Jane successfully drew attention by spraying water on stage. Then, Challmi sprayed water and took off her top. Other participants reacted with, “Is she crazy?” and “She’s lost it,” while Jang Yoon-ju remarked, “Hasn’t the boldness gone too far?” In an interview, Challmi explained, “I wanted to be more confident, and since there was an attitude I wanted to show through a rebellious performance, I believe I can justify it.”
Black Label chose Dasha, Yoyo, Jane, Jiwon, Choi Mina-su, and Tiara Torelli. White Label picked Nayawashi, Dasha, Bae Yoon-ji, Yeo Yeon-hee, Jane, and Tiara Torelli. Red Label selected Nayawashi, Dasha, Yoyo, Jane, Choi Mina-su, and Tiara Torelli. Tiara Torelli, Dasha, and Jane were the only ones to make it onto all three labels’ casting boards. The intermediate rankings based on the first half’s photographer evaluation were 1st Yoyo, 2nd Yeo Yeon-hee, and 3rd Dasha.
