TAG, formerly of the group Golden Child, has announced a fresh start with a new stage name.
On the 12th, TAG teased his comeback by releasing a “coming soon” poster via official SNS. He also revealed his determination to leap forward as a solo artist under the new stage name Universe.
The released poster features a lone bed in a dark space with pouring rain, creating a dreamy yet lonely atmosphere. The stylish black-and-white direction, paired with the text “Universe,” has sparked curiosity about Universe’s new journey.
TAG, who is making a new start as Universe, debuted as the main rapper of Golden Child in 2019. Since then, he has consistently participated in writing lyrics for the team’s albums and proved his producing skills by including his first self-composed song, “OASIS,” in the second full-length album “DDARA.”
Having officially stepped into producer activities by participating in the lyrics and composition of Golden Child member Lee Dae-yeol’s new song “Star Tree” last March, all eyes are on what kind of musical world Universe will showcase through this new release.
Meanwhile, Universe’s new song is scheduled to be released on various music sites on the 29th at 6 PM.
