'Trot Prince' Park Ji-hyun Reveals His Deep Fishery Roots:

In the upcoming episode of ‘Jun Hyun-moo’s Plan 3’ (co-produced by MBN, Channel S, and SK Broadband) airing on the 15th at 9:10 PM, Jun Hyun-moo and Kwaktube (Kwak Jun-bin) head to Samcheok, Gangwon-do, with Park Ji-hyun.

Jun Hyun-moo kicks things off with high energy, shouting, “This is Samcheok, the southernmost part of Gangwon-do. Today is a special episode where the ingredients are just alive!” The duo then heads straight to Beongae Market, the hub of freshness in Samcheok, with their “eating buddy” Park Ji-hyun. Upon entering the seafood market, Jun Hyun-moo introduces Park Ji-hyun as a true seafood expert, noting his roots in Mokpo and his professional experience. Park Ji-hyun reveals his impressive background, stating, “I worked in seafood wholesale. I’ve processed over 60,000 skate fish.” He quickly transforms from a trot singer to a fish expert, skillfully identifying fish like Jun-chi while using a local dialect.

During the feast, Park Ji-hyun opens up about his family, sharing, “My maternal family members are all in the fishery industry. My uncle sailed, and my maternal grandfather was a fishing village head.” He confesses, “I naturally started working in the fishery industry from middle school to help my mother.” This leaves fans curious about how the “filial youth” Park Ji-hyun eventually embarked on his journey to become a beloved trot star.
