Ra Mi-ran on ‘K-Zenitendo’: “The Moment I Put on the White Hair, I Knew I Was Hong-ja!”

Ra Mi-ran on 'K-Zenitendo':

Ra Mi-ran shared why she decided to join the project, saying, “The original work is so well-loved. I felt some pressure taking on the role of Hong-ja, who runs the candy store. I was looking forward to a Korean-style ‘K-Zenitendo’ and wanted to try a fantasy role this time. Since the movie is filled with such beautiful and warm stories, I felt I absolutely had to do it.”

Regarding her character, Ra Mi-ran said, “I heard people say the synchronization was high, but I initially felt there was a gap between me and the Hong-ja from the animation. I wondered if I could project that kind of aura, but with the help of the staff, the moment I put on the white hair, I felt it was okay. While appearance is important, I decided to challenge myself, thinking that if I could capture the image and encompass it through acting, it would be possible. It was pleasant, and I wondered when I’d get an experience like this again. I had fun maintaining the white hair during filming.”
