Comedian Jung Ju-ri, a mother of five sons, is experiencing a total mental breakdown after her childcare helper resigned and her husband made a shocking proposal.
On the afternoon of the 13th, a video titled “What happened to multi-child mom Jung Ju-ri???” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Jung Ju-ri’.
Jung Ju-ri shared the news that she is parting ways with her aunt-in-law, who had been her “hands and feet” for the past year and two months. As the aunt, a 23-year veteran daycare teacher, returned to her profession under great terms, Jung Ju-ri is now facing the challenge of managing five children on her own.
Expressing extreme tension and helplessness, Jung Ju-ri said, “Starting tomorrow, I am on my own. I need to pull myself together. I really have to look after the kids by myself now.” However, her husband’s reaction to the news left her even more bewildered.
Jung Ju-ri revealed her husband’s bombshell comment, saying, “Do you know what my husband said when I told him this? He said, ‘Then I’ll quit too and let’s look after the kids at home together.'”
While her husband’s desire to share the struggles of parenting was sweet, the reality of supporting five sons took priority. Jung Ju-ri sparked laughter by revealing she hit back with a sharp question: “Then who earns the money?”
