2PM just wrapped up their Tokyo Dome concert celebrating their 15th anniversary in Japan, and member Nichkhun is stealing the spotlight for instantly shutting down any visual concerns.
On May 9 and 10, 2PM held their solo concert, “2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert ‘THE RETURN’ in TOKYO DOME.” Returning to the Tokyo Dome stage after 10 years, they drew a massive crowd of 85,000 fans over the two days.
In photos released after the show, Nichkhun radiated a completely different aura from his recent appearances. With a sharp jawline, defined features, and a slim silhouette, he once again perfected his “Thai Prince” look. He also caught fans’ eyes with his undeniable presence in group photos with the other members.
Previously, Nichkhun shared a glimpse of his daily life through a video on 2PM’s official YouTube channel titled “Three people living together at 3 PM!? Audio-filled dorm life.” In that video, he drew attention from netizens for having a softer, fuller facial line compared to his previously sharp look.
Appearing naturally in a black hoodie and hat, online communities reacted with comments like, “I thought it was Sung Dong-il,” “He has a friendly uncle vibe now,” and “Where did the flower boy go?”
However, the tide turned once he returned with a perfectly managed look for the Tokyo Dome performance. Fans reacted enthusiastically, saying, “The difference before and after the paycheck is real,” “He’s back to his peak visuals as soon as he starts working,” “There was a controversy about him looking fuller, but seeing the concert photos, he managed himself well,” and “His idol aura really comes alive on stage.”
Meanwhile, 2PM is set to hold a full 6-member concert, “THE RETURN,” at the Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, from August 8 to 9.
