Singer BIBI is heating up this summer with a brand new song!
BIBI will release her new summer-themed track, “BUMPA,” on the 20th at 6 PM. This is her first new release in a year since her second full-length album, “EVE:ROMANCE,” in May last year. Expectations are high as this unreleased track received an explosive response whenever it was performed during her world tour.
Through her agency Feel Good Music, BIBI shared, “I wrote this song a long time ago, and I’m finally releasing it now. I think this is the first track I’m releasing solely because the fans wanted it. I’m so happy that you all liked it, so I worked on it with a joyful heart. That’s why it feels fresh and holds a special meaning for me.”
Last year, BIBI embarked on her first debut world tour across 17 cities in North America, Asia, and Oceania, achieving an unprecedented scale for a K-pop female solo artist.
“BUMPA” is a Jamaican word meaning “butt,” and the song intuitively expresses the feeling of dancing and enjoying the moment freely. Written and composed by BIBI, the track captures the vibrant atmosphere and upbeat energy of summer.
BIBI added, “I think I tried to clear my mind a bit while writing the lyrics. I focused on the joy itself while working on it. The key point doesn’t lie with me. The real point is how much the listeners enjoy it. I hope you all listen to it comfortably and happily.”
