The episode covers a case that began when a father reported his daughter, an employee at a jewelry store, missing. The victim had been out of contact from her Friday shift until Sunday morning, prompting her worried father to seek police help.
The investigation team immediately visited the jewelry store to track her movements, but she had vanished without a trace after leaving work on Friday night.
During the investigation, detectives spotted something suspicious in the victim’s financial records. Someone had been withdrawing cash throughout the dawn, starting about two and a half hours after she left work, with millions of won disappearing by the next morning.
ATM CCTV captured a man hiding his face with a hat and mask, leaving only a small glimpse of his face during the final withdrawal as the sole clue. The tension rises as detectives use this limited evidence to hunt down the suspect.
After a relentless pursuit, the team confirmed that the victim was forcibly taken to a motel. Shocking footage even showed the suspect carrying the seemingly unconscious victim into a car trunk.
Detectives later discovered that the suspect had taken the victim to his rural hometown, and the case took a new turn when suspicious marks were found in the backyard garden.
