Rain Uses Super Polite Honorifics for Wife Kim Tae-hee on ‘You Quiz’, Jokes “I Have to Be the Lively One!”

Singer and actor Rain showed off his special affection for his wife, Kim Tae-hee.

In a preview for tvN’s variety show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ aired on the 13th, Rain shared his recent updates and his feelings about taking on his first-ever villain role in 28 years since his debut in the Netflix series ‘Bloodhounds 2’.

During the show, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, “Kim Tae-hee previously appeared and said that Rain is very boisterous at home.” Rain laughed, replying, “If I’m not like that, the house is too quiet.” When he naturally referred to his wife as “Tae-hee nim,” Yoo Jae-suk burst into laughter at the unexpected use of extreme honorifics.

Rain’s use of the title “Tae-hee nim” became a hot topic immediately after the broadcast. Rain, who has never hidden his love for Kim Tae-hee, continued to show his side as a sweet husband with his delightful wit throughout the show.

Previously, Kim Tae-hee also appeared on ‘You Quiz on the Block’ last year and expressed her love, stating, “I’ve felt more at ease because Rain gives me so many compliments.”

Meanwhile, Rain and Kim Tae-hee married in 2017 and have two daughters.
