In the episode of Tcast E Channel’s ‘Brave Detectives 5’ airing on the 15th, former Senior Superintendent Yoon Oe-chul and Inspector Kim Jin-soo will reveal the investigation process of a kidnapping and murder case that spanned two months.
The episode begins with a missing person report from a father. After his daughter, who went to work on Friday, failed to return home by Sunday and lost contact, the father reported it to the police. The investigation team immediately visited the jewelry store, but the missing person had vanished after leaving work.
During the investigation, police discovered suspicious cash withdrawal records from the missing person’s account. Someone had been withdrawing cash throughout the night starting about two and a half hours after she left work, with millions of won gone by the next morning. CCTV from the ATM captured a man hiding his face with a hat and mask, leaving only a glimpse of his face in the final withdrawal scene as the sole clue.

The investigation leads to the suspect’s rural hometown home. The case takes a new turn when suspicious traces are discovered in the vegetable garden behind the house.
The cast cannot hide their anger at the brutal truth revealed after a two-month pursuit. Kwak Sun-young expressed shock, asking, “Does this mean someone can do anything if they need money?” while Ahn Jung-hwan reacted heatedly, calling the culprit “someone who deserves divine punishment.”
Meanwhile, ‘Brave Detectives 5’ airs every Friday at 9:50 PM and is available on OTT platforms such as Netflix, TVING, and Wavve.
