Jang Min-ho is getting a bit salty over some age-related jabs!
In the May 15 episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Fun-staurant’, the gentleman of the kitchen, Jang Min-ho, is reopening his ‘Ho-makase’. This time, the guests of honor are his favorite trot “nephews and nieces,” Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho. Expect plenty of laughs from the chaotic chemistry as the Gen Alpha middle schoolers tease their Gen X uncle, Jang Min-ho, sending him into a hilarious frenzy.
In the VCR, Jang Min-ho immediately complains of a headache due to the noisy arrival of his guests. The culprits making him hold the back of his neck are Kim Tae-yeon, who has grown from a gugak prodigy into a proper young lady, and trot prodigy Hwang Min-ho, who visited ‘Ho-makase’ a year ago. Jang Min-ho shook his head, admitting, “They are the most demanding guests I’ve had at Ho-makase so far.”
Soon after, the two middle schoolers, Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho, pull out ingredients they brought in their school backpacks to request a special dish. However, the ingredients are completely unexpected, leaving Jang Min-ho baffled as he asks, “Why did you bring drinking snacks?” Despite the confusion, Jang Min-ho takes on the challenge of creating a dish that hits the spot using these surprising ingredients. What are the Gen Alpha kids’ favorite ingredients, and can Jang Min-ho satisfy their tastes?
Meanwhile, Gen X uncle Jang Min-ho and his Gen Alpha guests provided non-stop laughter with their chaotic bickering throughout the cooking process. Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho bombarded him with Gen Alpha slang that he couldn’t understand and poked at him with comments like, “Uncle is Gen X.” Triggered by the kids, Jang Min-ho fought back with surprising childishness, leading the other ‘Fun-staurant’ members to jokingly criticize him, asking, “Do you really have to go that far against middle schoolers?”
Meanwhile, today’s episode of ‘Fun-staurant’ will air immediately following the ‘Friday Baseball’ broadcast.
