The orange-hued excitement is now a record! The group Yours, formed through ‘Be:My Boys,’ has taken their first step into the music industry after eight months of intense preparation. It’s been just five days since their debut, and while everything is still new and nerve-wracking, these eight boys’ passion for the stage burns hotter than anyone else’s.
Yours’ first single album, ‘Orange Record,’ released on the 7th, marks the group’s beginning. It’s a vibrant record capturing brilliant moments of youth where excitement and curiosity intertwine. Combining ‘orange,’ symbolizing anticipation and curiosity, with ‘record,’ meaning documentation and recording, the album encapsulates the honest and pure emotions of those encountering the world for the first time. It features a total of two tracks, including the title song ‘RushRush’ and ‘Supalove.’
Yours was formed on August 30, 2025, through the SBS audition program ‘Be:My Boys.’ After approximately eight months of pre-debut activities, they officially debuted in the music industry on the 7th.
On the 11th, marking their fifth day since debut, Yours met with reporters with trembling hearts. Hyo shared his feelings, saying, “I’m satisfied that the album turned out well, just as we prepared. We’re working hard to learn a lot from our seniors and do well. I’m so happy.” Bohyun expressed his determination, stating, “While there’s simple excitement and joy, there’s also a strong desire to show our will and true selves.”
The members explained that they filled the eight-month hiatus by focusing on consistent practice to build their skills and strengthen teamwork. Hyo added, “We had many opportunities to communicate with our fans, which made the time precious.” Kai also revealed that performing on music shows made him “feel the aura of our seniors. I want to work even harder to show a cool image.”
Bohyun shared his thoughts on monitoring their broadcasts. He said, “It was harder than I thought to find camera movements and cuts on music shows. After our performances, we gave each other advice and worked to create more polished stages.” Yeontae mentioned seniors he wanted to see during their promotions. He said, “I wanted to see Cortis and NCT WISH seniors. Especially James senior, who spoke to me first, so I had a lot to learn from him. His relaxed demeanor during rehearsals and stage manners were very inspiring.”
Regarding the B-side tracks, Bohyun explained, “As soon as we heard the demo, we felt like we could express the emotions we felt with energy. We talked among ourselves that the bright, rock-infused sound gives an energetic feeling.”
They continued to describe their debut album. Junseong said, “It contains the meaning of excitement and record.” Bohyun described Yours’ unique orange freshness as “natural and exciting emotions,” adding, “We prepared to infuse our past experiences into ‘RushRush.’ I think Yours’ color is sincerity and honest emotions.”

Bohyun, who is honest with his emotions, recalled the moment he shed tears after performing WayV’s ‘Love Talk’ during ‘Be:My Boys.’ He said, “I faced many difficulties going on the program without knowing anything. It was also tough because communication with multinational members wasn’t smooth.” He smiled and added, “After becoming Yours, thanks to the members taking good care of me, I regained my confidence. I found myself much brighter than before.”
The members also mentioned advice from judges after their debut. Bohyun revealed, “They told us via SNS, ‘Now we want to do challenges together as colleagues.’ PENTAGON and Yuju seniors promoted our song on SNS.” Hyo shared, “I met PENTAGON’s Hui senior, and I really want to film a challenge with him.” Junseong emphasized, “I remember MONSTA X seniors gave me feedback that I have a good ability to lead a song.”
Hyo was the first to join the debut lineup, ranking first in the finals. Hyo said, “My parents were also at the final venue, and they encouraged me, saying I achieved it through hard work.” Foreign members Kai and Haruto also recalled their emotions at the time, mentioning their parents’ full support.
As rookies, they also discussed their role models. Junseong said, “When I was contemplating my career path, watching SEVENTEEN seniors made me firmly decide I wanted to bring joy to people.” Yeontae honestly confessed, “I want to become a team that promotes K-pop worldwide and exerts a positive influence, just like BTS seniors.”

Yours also expressed their desire for consistent communication with fans. Bohyun showed his gratitude, saying, “Because there were fans who watched us since the program, we’ve had more time to connect with them through music shows and fan sign events. There are also fans who liked us from the very beginning, so it feels even more special and we’ve grown closer. We also seem to gain more energy when new fans ask us questions.”
They also outlined their goals. Hyo said, “I want to hold a fan meeting and fan concert in Korea. We have a concert in Japan on the 16th, but we haven’t done one in Korea yet.” Bohyun expressed his desire to “perform on year-end stages,” adding, “We debuted on the 7th, so it’s our fifth day since debut. Starting with ‘Orange Record,’ we want to do more activities and win the Rookie of the Year award,” revealing his ambition for the award.
The members’ affection for the team Yours was also evident. When asked what kind of team they want to be remembered as, Junseong stated, “An idol group where all songs are good, a ‘trustworthy Yours’ that people can listen to.” Hyo emphasized, “We want to be a team that expresses various emotions and tells our own stories.”
