TWICE's Jeongyeon Reveals Her Secret to Getting Fit After Steroid Side Effects:

TWICE’s Jeongyeon shared her healthy updates and radiated bright energy.

On the 14th, a video titled “Alcohol-free but tipsy with world star TWICE sisters” was released on the YouTube channel ‘117’. The video features SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan chatting cheerfully with TWICE’s Jihyo and Jeongyeon.

During the episode, Jihyo and Jeongyeon talked about their hectic schedules, saying, “It’s been two days since we returned from the world tour. We leave again tomorrow.” They jokingly added, “We’re only in Korea for three days, and we’re spending one of those days here,” which sparked laughter.

Seungkwan expressed his gratitude and admiration, saying, “Thank you so much. You sisters are so sexy.” He continued to praise them, saying, “When I see people exhausted from their schedules, I wonder ‘how do they do it,’ but you are so beautiful.” To this, Jeongyeon smiled brightly and replied, “I feel very healthy. It feels great.”

Recalling the world tour, Jihyo said, “While we were in the US, Jeongyeon and I were practically workout mates. We went to the sauna a lot, hit the gym often, and did a lot of running.” Jeongyeon added that she also went to the swimming pool, showing her dedication to health management.

When Seungkwan asked, “Did you eat some healthy food too?” the two simply laughed, keeping the atmosphere light and playful.

Jihyo further shared a heartwarming behind-the-scenes story from their “power of food tour,” saying, “This tour was exceptionally long with 80 shows in total. So, Jeongyeon and I each bought a portable pot; Jeongyeon cooked kalguksu, and I made budae-jjigae.”

Meanwhile, after neck disc surgery in 2020, Jeongyeon experienced a rapid increase in weight due to Cushing’s syndrome, a side effect of taking steroids. Since then, she has recovered her health and physique through consistent management and exercise. After returning to TWICE activities, she has been receiving a lot of support while continuing to perform actively in stable condition.
