Go Hyun-jung Addresses Health Rumors: “I’ve Lost My Appetite Due to Worries”

Actress Go Hyun-jung has shared her thoughts regarding rumors about her declining health.

On the 14th, a vlog capturing her daily life in Tokyo, Japan, was uploaded to Go Hyun-jung’s YouTube channel.

In the video, she spent a relaxing time eating sushi and black sesame pudding, and visiting exhibitions and restaurants with her staff.

Towards the end of the video, she addressed the recent rumors about her health.

Previously, Go Hyun-jung gained attention after revealing that she underwent a major surgery in 2020. At the time, she explained that she had emergency surgery for complex issues involving the area where the duodenum and pancreas connect.

She also confessed that her health deteriorated again in 2024. Go Hyun-jung shared, “There were things that caused me a lot of stress,” adding, “I collapsed again and barely managed to get into a hospital after visiting several emergency rooms.”

In particular, she opened up about her fears, saying, “I’m scared that something might happen even if I eat just two or three pieces of kimbap,” and “I really hate it when eating causes stomach pain.”

She also mentioned, “I don’t have much energy” and “Eating isn’t like it used to be,” which left fans worried.

Following this, rumors about her declining health spread online due to her thin appearance and changed aura.

Regarding this, Go Hyun-jung said, “I heard that many people are worried about my health because of the recently released YouTube videos.”

She explained, “It’s true that I’ve lost my appetite and energy, and I’ve lost interest in eating because of things I’m currently worried about,” adding, “This is something that can happen to anyone when they have worries.”

She further added, “Thanks to the warm help and consideration of those around me, I’m spending my days more energetically than ever. I’m trying to maintain my health by eating delicious food and exercising.”

Meanwhile, Go Hyun-jung appeared in the SBS drama ‘Mantis: Murderer’s Outing,’ which ended last September, and is reportedly reviewing her next project.
