Members of ‘Youngwoong Sidae Hongcheon-bang’ recently visited the Oesampo Senior Center in Hwachon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, to celebrate Parents’ Day by hosting a ‘Samgyetang sharing volunteer activity’ for 75 local seniors.
This marks their 24th volunteer event, highlighting their consistent dedication to giving back to the community.
The members served carefully prepared Samgyetang and snacks to the seniors. They also shared warmth by gifting hand-knitted scrubbers and photos of Lim Young-woong.
To add to the joy, the members performed a chorus of Lim Young-woong’s hit song ‘My Starry Love,’ giving the seniors a wonderful and memorable time.
Comprising 38 members, ‘Youngwoong Sidae Hongcheon-bang’ has been consistently active in sharing since 2022, starting with the donation of 20 blankets to the Hongcheon Senior Welfare Center.
Their kindness has extended to donating daily necessities like bottled water and soy sauce, providing scholarships for elementary, middle, and high school students in Hongcheon, supporting students from low-income families with jackets, providing snacks to childcare centers at the end of the year, and donating to social cooperatives and associations for people with intellectual disabilities.
A representative from ‘Youngwoong Sidae Hongcheon-bang’ stated, “We want to practice a positive influence within our local community, following the sincere heart of singer Lim Young-woong. We will continue to join forces with fans in the Hongcheon area to help create a healthy and happy time for everyone.”
