Comedian Kim Shin-young, who is currently in top form, is set to captivate viewers with her signature “sweet and salty” health food that can even beat a cold.
In the MBC show ‘I Live Alone’ airing on the 15th, Kim Shin-young’s “homebody routine” after finishing her radio broadcast will be revealed.
The released photos show Kim Shin-young, who has caught a cold, preparing her own special health food. Struggling with her cold, she declares, “I eat because I’m sick!” and makes an appetizer filled with vitamins and sweetness by adding “this” to a large mixing bowl. Kim Shin-young praises the menu, calling it “like herbal medicine” and explaining, “It’s medicine. A folk remedy passed down from my grandmother.” After enjoying the sweet herbal-like appetizer, she brings out an even larger mixing bowl to mix stir-fried anchovies and rice, completing the “first sweet and salty course.”
She doesn’t stop there, as the “second sweet and salty course” begins. Kim Shin-young says, “This is my signature,” as she completes a health meal featuring gochujang, vegetables, fish cakes, and her rule of “one serving of glass noodles a day.” After tasting it, she is satisfied, saying, “This is going to get famous.” She shares her own philosophy on health food, stating, “Real health food is what I actually like.”
While eating her health food and sweating profusely, Kim Shin-young suddenly puts down her chopsticks and stops eating, surprising the Rainbow members. She firmly decides to put the remaining food in the fridge, saying, “You have to let go at that moment.” This leaves everyone curious about why she suddenly stopped her meal.
You can check out Kim Shin-young’s perfect sweet and salty health food course, ending with a refreshing dessert finale, on MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ tonight (15th) at 11:10 PM.
