On the 14th, Park Hyun-ji uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled “‘My Ex is Dating My Friend?!’ Dopamine Dating Counseling Center Open,” where she shared her thoughts while reading stories from fans.
Toward the end of the video, Park Hyun-ji opened up about her own experiences with cheating partners.
She started by saying, “I’ve heard so many stories about flight attendants cheating while meeting other crew members, and it actually happened to me twice.”
Regarding her first ex, she recalled, “At the time, I was in Vancouver. He told me he was meeting friends and that they kept asking him to stay, so he sent a message saying he was taking a taxi home. He probably wanted to show me the KakaoTalk chat where he told his friends he was leaving. But in the screenshot he sent, a conversation at the top was slightly visible, mentioning he was meeting some ‘noonas.’ When I asked about it, he kept denying it, eventually claiming he just ran into them on the street and said hello. It turned out he had been drinking and staying with them the whole time. I broke up with him immediately because of that.”
She then shared another incident from a flight to Bali: “My ex secretly met his former girlfriend. The day after his birthday, I turned on the iPad to watch Netflix, and a KakaoTalk window popped up by mistake. There were so many women. I had a bad feeling. He claimed they were just birthday wishes, but when I entered one chat, the conversation was totally flirtatious. He had already met his ex-girlfriend a week prior when he went to Bali.”
Park Hyun-ji added, “Anyway, he had already met that ex-girlfriend once or twice behind my back, and he was contacting her as if he were single, hiding the fact that he had a girlfriend. I called her immediately, asked if she knew he had a girlfriend, told her not to contact him, and broke up with him.”
Park Hyun-ji previously gained attention after appearing on TVING’s ‘환승연애4’ (EXchange 4), where she became the final couple with Jo Yu-sik.
Additionally, Kwak Min-kyung, Jo Yu-sik’s ex-partner of eight years, also appeared on ‘환승연애4’. She showed complex emotions and tears over her lingering feelings for Jo Yu-sik before they eventually parted ways. Although Jo Yu-sik and Park Hyun-ji were the final couple, they did not develop into a real-life couple.
Shin Seung-yong, who has since declared a public relationship with Kwak Min-kyung, is Park Hyun-ji’s ex-boyfriend. On ‘환승연애4’, he and Kwak Min-kyung even strategized together to help Park Hyun-ji and Shin Seung-yong reunite.
In a twist of fate, Jo Yu-sik and Park Hyun-ji, the final couple, ended up single, while Park Hyun-ji and Shin Seung-yong, who had sought a reunion, actually became a couple.
