Actor Lee Ki-taek is joining ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ as a new member!
On the 15th, his agency KeyEast announced, “Lee Ki-taek will be appearing as a fixed cast member on KBS2’s variety show ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’.”
Lee Ki-taek shared his excitement, saying, “I am truly grateful and honored to be part of ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4,’ a beloved national variety show that travels across the country to showcase the charms of different regions.”
He added his ambitions, stating, “I still have a lot to learn, but I will learn a lot from my seniors and work hard to blend into the program quickly so I can bring joy to the viewers.”
Word has it that Lee Ki-taek captured the production team’s hearts during his pre-interview with his honest nature and unpredictable, unique charm. The production team expressed high expectations, stating, “Lee Ki-taek is expected to provide even more rich entertainment alongside existing members Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun, and DinDin.”
Having debuted as a model, Lee Ki-taek officially began his acting career in 2020 through the web drama ‘Dangerous Cohabitation of Two Women – In Seoul 2’. Since then, he has steadily built his presence in dramas such as ‘The Devil Judge’, ‘My Happy End’, and ‘Namib’. Most recently, he played the bold younger man ‘Shin Ji-soo’ in the drama ‘Efficient Meeting of Unmarried Men and Women’, showcasing a straightforward romance toward Han Ji-min.
Lee Ki-taek also recently made a strong impression on the Coupang Play variety show ‘Bonjour Bakery’ (released on the 8th), where he transformed into Cha Seung-won’s assistant chef, showing off his witty talk despite his nerves. Additionally, the release of the new SBS variety show ‘Beopryun Road: Monk and Guest’ is also on the horizon.
