Singer Kim Ui-young has claimed the number one spot as the female trot singer parents would most likely love during Family Month!
TenAsia conducted a poll from the 7th to the 13th with the theme, “Which female trot singer would parents love the most during Family Month?”
Taking the top spot is Kim Ui-young. On the 9th, she shared a glimpse of her daily life on social media, catching everyone’s attention with a stunning photo of herself posing in front of a mirror wearing a blue dress. Kim Ui-young first rose to fame after finishing in 5th place on TV Chosun’s ‘Tomorrow’s Miss Trot 2’. Last May, she released her fourth single, ‘STARTrot PART.1’, produced by Kim Hyung-suk.
Singer Jung Mi-ae came in second. Jung Mi-ae became well-known after placing 2nd in the first season of TV Chosun’s ‘Miss Trot’. Her husband, Cho Sung-hwan, is currently appearing on MBN’s ‘Nameless Legend’. On the 20th, Jung Mi-ae shared a selfie taken in her car on social media with the caption, “Just another day.”
Third place goes to singer Kim Da-hyun. Kim Da-hyun was recently appointed as the ‘2026 Yeosu World Island Exhibition Ambassador’.
