Produce Japan SHINSEKAI is the fourth series of Japan’s largest audition program, which previously produced popular groups like JO1 and INI. The team formed through this project plans to use a simultaneous debut in Korea and Japan as a springboard to expand their activities onto the global stage.
Following the second ranking announcement on the 14th, which narrowed the field to 35 survivors, National Producer representative Dean Fujioka highlighted the trainees’ changed “look in their eyes” as the biggest achievement. He noted, “Beyond simply doing it because they like it, new meanings have layered upon each other, and their individuality and character are starting to stand out.” He also encouraged the new group to keep challenging themselves and open a “new world” rather than settling for past successes.

The global heat for the show is proven by the numbers! The number of second-round voters on the official platform Mnet Plus increased by approximately 50% compared to the first round. In particular, steady participation from North America and Europe, beyond Asia, has proven its global popularity.
The excitement was also palpable at the recently concluded KCON JAPAN 2026. Massive crowds flocked to the theme song performance and the dedicated booth, reaffirming the high level of interest in the trainees.
The music is also making waves! The theme song “新世界” (SHINSEKAI) topped the Oricon weekly streaming rising chart last month with a growth rate of 52.2%.
Mnet Plus, the global official platform for Produce Japan SHINSEKAI, continues to act as a bridge for global fandoms by providing live streaming worldwide (excluding Japan), multilingual services, and exclusive content.
