SHINee member Onew has once again proven his unmatched global influence by successfully completing his Asia fan meeting tour.
On May 13 and 14, Onew held his solo fan meeting “2026 ONEW FANMEETING ‘TOUGH LOVE'” at the NHK Hall in Tokyo, Japan, creating precious memories with local fans.
The ‘TOUGH LOVE’ tour was themed after his 5th mini album and title track of the same name released in March. Starting in Seoul, Onew connected with global fans through a total of 8 performances across five Asian cities, including Taipei, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Tokyo.
Onew provided a rich experience with a variety of segments, including music, talk, and missions. He showed his special love for fans by adding variety to the setlists and segments depending on the region.
For the grand finale in Tokyo, Onew opened the show with ‘번져 (gradation)’ and ‘Dot dot dot (…)’, bringing the fluttering excitement of a new love. He fully showcased the charm of his smooth vocals with his signature delicate control. Onew also proved his all-rounder status with powerful performances of ‘TOUGH LOVE’ and ‘X, Oh Why?’.
In the ‘LOVE COUNSELOR’ segment, he continued warm communication by listening to and answering fans’ worries. He also spent time sharing stories with fans through games and role reversals in ‘TOUGH COUNSELOR’ and ‘REVERSE COUNSELOR’.
Onew shared his thoughts, saying, “Since the theme of the fan meeting was ‘love,’ I feel like I shared my honest feelings with Jjinggu. In the end, isn’t love the strength that allows us to face tomorrow? I hope the time we spent together becomes a source of strength for Jjinggu to live through tomorrow. I will also spend each day more joyfully and happily thanks to the love of Jjinggu.”
