On May 15 at 11 AM (local time), a photocall for the Midnight Screening invitee ‘Swarm’ [군체] was held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Kim Shin-rok, and director Yeon Sang-ho kicked off their first schedule at the Cannes Film Festival.
Actors including Jun Ji-hyun, who attended the Cannes Film Festival for ‘Swarm’ [군체], greeted reporters from around the world during the photocall.
Jun Ji-hyun caught everyone’s eye with a chic black and white look, pairing a blouse with black pants and flowing long straight hair.
Before the premiere screening, director Yeon Sang-ho and actors Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, and Kim Shin-rok will walk the red carpet. They will meet fans in front of the Lumiere Theatre before attending the screening together.
Director Yeon Sang-ho has been invited to the Cannes Film Festival for the fourth time, following his first feature animation ‘The King of Pigs’ (2012, Director’s Fortnight), ‘Train to Busan’ (2016, Midnight Screening), and ‘Peninsula’ (2020, Official Selection). Having left a strong impression on the global film industry with Korean-style zombie genres and original twists, director Yeon Sang-ho is set to prove the power of Korean cinema once again through ‘Swarm’ [군체].
Meanwhile, ‘Swarm’ [군체], which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, will be released on the 21st.
