Hwang Min-ho and Jang Min-ho brought plenty of laughs with their cross-generational chemistry!
On the May 15 episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Fun-staurant’, Hwang Min-ho appeared to enjoy Jang Min-ho’s special ‘Ho-makase’.
Hwang Min-ho visited Jang Min-ho’s home upon his invitation. Since Hwang Min-ho had been quite skeptical during his visit to ‘Ho-makase’ a year ago, Jang Min-ho was visibly nervous about his return.
During their chat, Hwang Min-ho declared, “We aren’t MZ anymore. We are the Alpha Generation.” He even joked with Jang Min-ho, who tried to claim he was part of the Alpha Generation, telling him, “You need to be born right now,” while emphasizing that Jang Min-ho is actually Gen X.
The teasing didn’t stop there! Hwang Min-ho asked a flustered Jang Min-ho, “Are you a bit triggered?” and added, “Did you wear those glasses because you want to look younger? There aren’t even lenses in them,” and “There’s a generation gap because you’re Gen X,” sparking laughter with their playful bickering.
Hwang Min-ho also taught Jang Min-ho some current slang. When Jang Min-ho responded with a string of old-fashioned slang, Hwang Min-ho reacted with a dry tone, saying, “That’s really funny. I think you could be a comedian later,” which left everyone in stitches.
Later, Hwang Min-ho requested a new dish using dried radish greens and pork backbones. Jang Min-ho prepared various dishes, including grilled bones, while Hwang Min-ho sang “labor songs” to keep the energy high while enjoying the meal.
After a massive mukbang of the various dishes, Hwang Min-ho showed his satisfaction by declaring, “I’m not going home, I’ll just stay here,” creating a heartwarming moment.
Meanwhile, Hwang Min-ho recently appeared on tvN’s ‘Ensemble’, where he touched hearts by challenging himself with choir singing and showing continuous growth. He plans to continue communicating with fans through various activities.
