Singer Hong Kyung-min gave netizens a good laugh after revealing the shocking visual of an affogato he ordered at a cafe.
On the 15th, Hong Kyung-min posted a photo on his Instagram with a long caption starting with, “Wait… am I the one who’s mistaken, or what…” The photo caught everyone’s attention as it featured a mysterious drink that looked nothing like a typical affogato.
He couldn’t hide his bewilderment, asking, “Is an affogato originally supposed to be ice cream floating in coffee like this? Wasn’t it supposed to be pouring a bit of coffee over ice cream?” While an affogato is typically a dessert where espresso is poured over ice cream, what Hong Kyung-min received looked like a “coffee swimming pool,” as if a scoop of ice cream had simply been dropped into an iced americano.
Expressing his frustration, Hong Kyung-min added, “Why does this only happen to me… is this why people say you should just stick to what you know?” He sparked laughter by adding, “If I was going to hold it and drink it like this, I would have just ordered a coffee.”
