Yuk Jung-wan Band's Kang Jun-woo Welcomes a 'Miracle' Son Born Prematurely at 690g

It has been belatedly confirmed that Kang Jun-woo, a member of the band Yuk Jung-wan Band, has become a father.

According to OSEN on the 16th, Kang Jun-woo’s wife gave birth to their son, Kang Woo-ju, on April 16.

Due to oligohydramnios and placental abruption during pregnancy, Woo-ju was born at just 25 weeks, much earlier than the due date. He was reportedly an extremely premature baby, weighing only 690g at birth.

An official carefully shared, “Since the baby was born so small, the parents must have spent their time anxiously and cautiously. I believe the reason they couldn’t easily share the news of the birth was because of their desperate hope for the child’s health and recovery.”

Currently, Kang Jun-woo and his family are pouring all their love and effort into hoping the baby grows healthier every day under the meticulous care of the medical staff.

The news of Kang Jun-woo’s son brings an even deeper emotional touch, coinciding with the recent release of a new song by Yuk Jung-wan Band. On the 14th, Yuk Jung-wan Band released their new single “Today, I Earn Money Tenaciously” and continues their active promotions. The song features realistic lyrics that comfort all the breadwinners of the world and those living fiercely. It highlights how the act of “enduring life” itself is a great struggle, delivering a message that simply surviving a day that feels like it’s collapsing is dignified and valuable enough.
