The wait is over! After returning as a full group, LUCY left fans with an overwhelming sense of happiness and emotion amidst loud cheers and sing-alongs.

Band LUCY finally filled the KSPO DOME with their own name! LUCY (Shin Yechan, Choi Sangyeop, Cho Wonsang, and Shin Kwangil) met their fans on the 16th at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, for the ‘2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT
The atmosphere was exactly as expected. The seats were packed with fans who had been waiting for LUCY, and the venue buzzed with excitement and tension before the show even started. The moment the curtain rose, the explosion of cheers and sing-alongs made the weight of the occasion immediately clear. Entering the KSPO DOME wasn’t just about playing a bigger venue. Having grown step by step from the Blue Square Mastercard Hall, Jangchung Gymnasium, and Ticketlink Live Arena, reaching a major dome venue proved how steadily LUCY has built their journey.

The show started with a bang! LUCY instantly ramped up the energy by performing ‘발아’, ‘개화(Flowering)’, and ‘히어로’ in succession. All three are official releases, with ‘발아’ being a track from their recent second full-length album ‘Childish’, while ‘개화’ and ‘히어로’ are considered the group’s representative hits. From the very first stage, LUCY’s signature refreshing band sound and overwhelming emotions were on full display, quickly filling the massive venue with their unique color.
Above all, the keyword for the night was “full group.” Shin Kwangil’s return meant more than just a member joining back. It had been one year and six months since the four of them last stood on stage together, and the cheers from the fans who waited for this moment were exceptionally passionate. The members honestly shared their nerves about entering the KSPO DOME for the first time and mentioned that they felt at ease the moment they saw the fans’ faces. Their words, “I will remember today as my starting point” and “There has never been a moment where I wasn’t sincere,” perfectly captured why this concert was so special. It was a moment where the artists’ sincerity and the fans’ longing aligned perfectly.

The fact that this concert followed the release of their second full-length album ‘Childish’ added even more meaning. ‘Childish’ is the first full-group album released after Shin Kwangil’s discharge, exploring the desire to maintain one’s identity and childhood innocence in reality through LUCY’s own musical language. On stage, the new tracks blended naturally with their existing hits, clearly proving where the team stands now. ‘Childish’ marked another turning point in LUCY’s career, recording 103,562 copies in its first week of release. The KSPO DOME performance showed that this upward trend isn’t just about numbers but translates into real heat at the venue.

As the show progressed, the emotions grew deeper. Fans shared joy and comfort by singing along to LUCY’s songs, and the members couldn’t hide their emotions despite the laughter and joking. Toward the end of the show, fans sang ‘낙화’ together, deeply touching the members. ‘낙화’ is also an official release, and hearing it echoed by the fans’ voices symbolically tied together the emotions of the night. While fighting back tears, the members expressed that their feelings of gratitude, emotion, and joy were far greater than any sadness. Thus, the phrase “emotion of happiness” fit the stage better than “tears of joy.”

Continuing through several encore stages, the night was a testament to why LUCY is now standing at the KSPO DOME, proven in the most “LUCY-like” way. Four members reunited as a full group after the military hiatus, fans who trusted and waited for them, and a venue united through song. ‘ISLAND’ will remain as a touching record of LUCY’s first entry into the KSPO DOME, completed together by the artists and their fans.
