Moon Sang-hoon appeared on the May 16th episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ (hereafter ‘Omniscient’), where he shared a surprising story about being scouted by an online lecture company.
During the show, Jun Hyun-moo noted that while the ‘BDNS’ channel offers a variety of content, the real “kick” is Moon Sang-hoon’s acting skills. He asked, “Your acting is so realistic that you’ve even been misunderstood, right?”
Recalling the experience, Moon Sang-hoon explained, “I have a concept called ‘Star Instructor Moon-ssam.’ About three to six months after I started, I received a call from an unknown number saying that a chairman wanted to meet me. I ended up going to a cafe in Daechi-dong.”
He revealed, “The chairman of an online lecture company told me I had talent. I was trying to be funny, but he kept insisting, ‘You have talent. You can lose weight, and you can study. Let’s start studying together from the beginning.'”
While Song Eun-i was shocked that he actually received a scout offer, Yoo Byung-jae whispered that the company was a very large one, though he couldn’t name it. Moon Sang-hoon added a surprising detail, saying, “A year or two ago, I heard that a certain instructor from that company paid the most taxes in that district, and I thought I definitely had to share this story on ‘Omniscient’.”
