Kim Ju-ha recently opened up about her past life with her ex-husband.
Singer Pyeon Seung-yeop appeared as a guest on MBN’s ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day & Night’ on May 16.
During the show, Pyeon Seung-yeop shared stories about his three divorces and four marriages. Reflecting on his experiences, he mentioned, “It might sound like a one-sided claim, but I’m actually the type to be quite good to women.”
He caught everyone’s attention by adding, “I tend to be kind, but every time I go through those situations, I make a vow to myself: ‘I shouldn’t be too good to this woman, because it only comes back as a wound.'”
Pyeon Seung-yeop further explained, “I hope viewers don’t misunderstand, but even when you’re good to them, some women want endlessly. Usually, if you give one, they want two, and if you give two, they want three.”
This prompted Kim Ju-ha to add a touch of humor, saying, “I only wanted one thing.” Pyeon Seung-yeop responded, “I’ve heard that many people experience this. When men meet a woman they love, they go all-in at first, as if they’d pluck the moon and stars for her. But once they’ve given everything, there’s nothing left to give.”
Meanwhile, Kim Ju-ha married in October 2004 and had two children. However, she filed for divorce in November 2013 after nine years of marriage due to her ex-husband’s infidelity and violence. The legal battle finally concluded in June 2016.
At the time, the court granted Kim Ju-ha parental rights, custody, and 50 million won in alimony, while ordering her ex-husband to pay 1.021 billion won in asset division. Kim Ju-ha later exposed her ex-husband’s use of fake documents, his infidelity, meetings with a mistress, and his history of violence and abuse.
