The “Seoksam Family” lit up the night in Jeju Island with their signature hilarious chemistry!
In the 6th episode of TV CHOSUN’s ‘Seoksam Play Season 1’ aired on May 16, Ji Suk-jin, Jeon So-min, Lee Sang-yeob, and Lee Mi-joo headed to Jeju for their first 2-day, 1-night journey. The trip was a rollercoaster of emotions set against the refreshing scenery of the island, bringing a burst of energy to viewers.
Upon arriving in Jeju, Ji Suk-jin immediately spotted a Dol Hareubang and joked, “He’s my brother. He’s Hareubang, and I’m Korubang,” poking fun at his own nose. When tourists cheered, Ji Suk-jin quickly greeted them, prompting a cute reaction from Lee Sang-yeob, who asked, “I think they were cheering for me, so why are you the one greeting them?”
Lee Mi-joo’s attempt at driving also became a major highlight. Sitting in the driver’s seat, she caused a burst of laughter by asking Lee Sang-yeob, “There’s valet parking, right?” while worrying about parking. Although she seemed stable at first, she soon took a wrong turn, losing the production crew and ending up “self-lost.” Her bold parking attempts especially left the members screaming in terror, leaving viewers in stitches.
At their atmospheric accommodation, the younger members discovered an annex and plotted to isolate Ji Suk-jin, bringing the “Ji Suk-jin teasing” to a peak. After putting on couple shoes gifted by the crew, the members launched into a relay of physical comedy. Even the usually quiet Lee Sang-yeob overcame his shyness to explode with unexpected variety skills, heating up the atmosphere.
However, tensions peaked during the grocery shopping trip. As they bickered over each other’s tastes, Ji Suk-jin shook his head, saying, “I can’t travel with these two sensitive people,” referring to Jeon So-min and Lee Mi-joo. The “Soju Sisters” coyly responded, “When were we ever?” maintaining the tense vibe.
The “enemy chemistry” continued during dinner. When Jeon So-min handed Ji Suk-jin a wrap, saying, “Give an extra piece of cake to the one you hate,” Ji Suk-jin was momentarily touched—until the spicy kick of a Cheongyang chili hit him. Seeing him struggle, Jeon So-min enjoyed the moment, leading Ji Suk-jin to warn, “I’m going to get my revenge!” However, they showed a surprising twist by uniting to plot a bet against the production crew for the next day’s plans.
