Lee Sang-min definitely made his presence felt on ‘Knowing Bros’!
During the May 16 broadcast of JTBC’s variety show ‘Knowing Bros’, Lee Sang-min had a blast chatting with I.O.I, who visited the show to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.
As other members like Seo Jang-hoon introduced the programs they were promoting, Lee Sang-min caught everyone’s attention by raising his hand and shouting, “Me too, me too, me too!” Having already made headlines for attempting to produce an album for the first time in 25 years, he actively promoted his current ‘232 Project,’ jokingly telling the guests, “Come quickly. I’ll make you a singer,” as he shared his recent transformation into an idol producer.
During the I.O.I re-enrollment application segment, Lee Sang-min jumped up immediately when Chungha mentioned, “I’m so curious about Sang-min’s voice.” He also brought laughs with his witty greeting to Lim Na-young, who earned the nickname ‘Little Mermaid’ for being a quiet listener to her members.
Lee Sang-min kept the conversation flowing by asking about I.O.I’s activities. He mentioned the reunion buzz surrounding Wanna One and I.O.I and highly praised I.O.I’s new song ‘Suddenly,’ calling it a “complete twist.” He even impressed everyone by instantly recognizing the melody of ‘Suddenly,’ showing off his ‘God of Music’ side.
His variety skills also shined during the game segment. In the ‘3-Second Common Sense Quiz,’ Lee Sang-min caused a laugh when he got flustered and stumbled over the answer to “What is Superman’s job?” He further exploded his variety sense by freely improvising lyrics while singing Lee Hyori’s ’10 Minutes.’
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min recently established his own agency, The 232, and is continuing his new path as an idol producer through the YouTube channel ‘232 Project.’ The ‘232 Project’ has already completed work on two songs, ‘GENIUS’ and ‘I AIN’T THE ONE,’ and is currently on a journey to find the perfect members to perform them.
