Chu Dae-yeop to Storm 'Gag Concert' as CopyChu for a Hilarious 'Plagiarism' Trial!

Chu Dae-yeop, known as CopyChu, is heading to the ‘Public Trial’ corner on ‘Gag Concert’.

In the episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Gag Concert’ airing May 17 at 10:40 PM, comedian Chu Dae-yeop’s alter ego, CopyChu, will appear as the defendant in a ‘Public Trial’.

CopyChu’s charge for the day is the ‘Crime of Plagiarizing Everything’. Prosecutor Park Sung-ho will list CopyChu’s most famous songs suspected of plagiarism, calling him the representative icon of plagiarism in Korea.

In response, lawyer Park Young-jin will argue that claiming something is plagiarized just because it is slightly similar is weak logic. He is expected to bring laughs by searching the audience for someone who plagiarized Park Sung-ho.

Chu Dae-yeop debuted in 2002 as part of MBC’s 13th open recruitment of comedians. Since he has spent a long time as an MBC comedian, there is growing curiosity about how he will perform on ‘Gag Concert’.

Additionally, UNITE will visit the ‘Simgok Police Station’. Having released their 8th mini album ‘INYUN Part.1’ on the 12th and currently promoting the title track ‘Pose!’, UNITE will visit Song Pil-geun to complain about noise between floors, raising expectations for their appearance.
