Actor Shin Ha-kyun has confessed to being a “hobby rich” person!
On May 16, a video titled “Our Ha-kyun Hyung is…” was released on the YouTube channel ‘Yoo Yeon-seok’s Weekend Yeon-seok Play’.
During the episode, Shin Ha-kyun shared his healing moments, saying, “It’s when I’m at home with no appointments or work.” He then revealed his daily routine: “I wake up and drink lukewarm water, then take two spoons of olive oil. I eat eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, and yogurt, followed by a cold shower.” He added, “By the time I finish some light stretching, it’s 9 AM. Before lunch, I do 30 pull-ups, 70 push-ups, and a 3-minute plank.”
He continued, “I rest for a bit and then have dinner. When I’m alone, I listen to music.” He mentioned that he’s recently been into AKMU, specifically enjoying songs like ‘Sunlight Bless You’, ‘Paradise of Rumors’, and ‘Joy, Sorrow, Beautiful Heart’.

Shin Ha-kyun is truly a man of many hobbies, having tried scuba diving, snowboarding, swimming, cycling, and hiking. “I don’t do them all at once; I focus on one at a time. I also love making things with my hands, so I enjoy plastic models,” he shared. Regarding Lego, he said, “I used to love Lego, but I don’t do it now. I could build a whole village with Lego, but as I collected more, it filled up the space. Since I ran out of room, I’ve disassembled them all and put them in storage.”
When Yoo Yeon-seok noted, “It seems you like things that help you focus and clear your mind,” Shin Ha-kyun laughed and explained, “It’s because I couldn’t do those things when I was young. They were expensive back then. My parents only bought them for me when I did well on my exams, so I’m doing it now that I’m older.” When asked about his plans for the upcoming weekend, he brought laughter by replying, “Nothing. I don’t even want to make a plan.”
Meanwhile, Shin Ha-kyun introduced his upcoming MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘Fifty Percent’, premiering on the 22nd. He described it as “a story about three men who were the best in their respective positions, risking the remaining half of their lives to solve a case,” and revealed that he plays a former NIS black agent who is now a Chinese restaurant chef.
