Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late actress Choi Jin-sil, has officially put an end to rumors of a rift with her maternal grandmother by sharing glimpses of her wedding day.
On the 17th, Choi Jun-hee took to her SNS to share photos and videos from her wedding held on the 16th. The images show a beaming Choi Jun-hee in her wedding dress alongside her older brother Choi Hwan-hee and her grandmother, who looked elegant in a traditional hanbok. Fans also noticed her grandmother seated in the parents’ section.
This comes after reports of conflict between Choi Jun-hee and her grandmother surfaced back in 2023. At the time, Choi Jun-hee had reported her grandmother for trespassing and claimed she suffered from verbal abuse and discrimination. These events led to speculation that the two had grown distant, and recently, rumors even spread that her grandmother had skipped the wedding.
Addressing the rumors directly in the comments, Choi Jun-hee stated, “Of course my grandmother came. Please stop the speculation on such a happy day.”
The wedding video shared by Choi Jun-hee also featured childhood family photos with a touching caption, reflecting on how she now realizes their childhood was a time their parents fought fiercely to protect. The video even included footage from the wedding of the late Choi Jin-sil and the late Cho Sung-min.
Choi Jun-hee tied the knot on the 16th at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, with a non-celebrity man 11 years her senior. Her older brother, Choi Hwan-hee, took on the role of the host, while entertainer Jo Se-ho served as the MC. The ceremony featured beautiful songs by singers Sohyang and Tei. Many of the late Choi Jin-sil’s close friends, including Hong Jin-kyung, Uhm Jung-hwa, Lee Young-ja, Lee Sora, and Jung Sun-hee, attended to celebrate the couple’s new beginning.
