Band LUCY has officially captured the hearts of fans by taking the stage at KSPO DOME (formerly the Gymnastics Arena) for the first time since their debut!
LUCY held their solo concert, “2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT ‘ISLAND'” (hereafter ‘ISLAND’), over two days from May 16 to 17 at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The event drew an impressive crowd of approximately 25,000 attendees.
‘ISLAND’ marks LUCY’s first-ever performance at KSPO DOME. Having gradually expanded the scale of their shows leading up to this ninth solo concert, LUCY has firmly solidified their position within the band market.
The show was a visual feast, featuring various special effects such as LED visuals, confetti, and fireworks. LUCY kept the energy high and the atmosphere festive by interacting with the crowd, moving between the protruding stage and the seating areas. The immersion was further heightened by unique production elements, including a “drum car” that moved the drum lift, Korean-style arrangements using traditional drums, and a performance battle between members using game-inspired screens.
At the end of the show, LUCY shared their heartfelt thoughts: “I could see happiness and laughter floating throughout the venue. I’m truly grateful that as the venue grows, I can share this happiness with more people. While performing, I thought of every single moment I spent creating music for Walwal-i. I have never been anything but sincere. I hope you know that I am sincere now and will continue to be on the path ahead. It was overwhelming to have so many of you singing our music along with us. This is all thanks to you.”
After wrapping up the Seoul shows, LUCY will continue the ‘ISLAND’ tour in Taipei on June 20 and Yokohama, Japan, on July 24.
