During the press screening and conference for the movie ‘Wild Thing’ (directed by Son Jae-gon) held on the 18th at Lotte Cinema Jamsil Lotte Tower, Oh Jung-se shared, “I’ve always liked Ha-kyun sunbae, so I was glad and happy to meet him in a project after a long time.”
He added, “It was a short encounter, but as expected, it was intense and thrilling. I think many people will think of ‘Extreme Job’. I did too, and I was still happy,” showing his affection for his co-star.
‘Wild Thing’ follows the story of ‘Triangle’, a three-member co-ed dance group that once dominated the music scene, as they attempt to reunite after 20 years.
The group consists of leader Hwang Hyun-woo (Kang Dong-won), who is now a broadcaster making a living; Byeon Do-mi (Park Ji-hyun), who married into a chaebol family; and Gu Sang-gu (Um Tae-goo), who is drowning in debt after a failed solo career. As they gather for one final stage, their journey takes an unexpected turn with the appearance of their former rival, ballad singer Seong-gon (Oh Jung-se), and a former agency CEO with whom they have a complicated history.
The film opens on June 3rd.
