Studio Lululala is bringing a brand new web variety show to life with Chef Kang Leo!
The first episode of ‘To.Dal.Bok’ will be uploaded to the official YouTube channel on May 20 at 6 PM. ‘To.Dal.Bok’ is a daily food talk show where Chef Kang Leo and various guests chat about the fast-changing trends in the culinary world.
Serving as the MC, Kang Leo is well-known for his sharp and piercing critiques as a judge on ‘MasterChef Korea’, the show that sparked the cooking survival craze in Korea. With his extensive industry experience and signature honest wit, he is expected to be the perfect host for this food talk show.
The first episode features some heavy hitters: Choi Kang-rok, the winner of Netflix’s ‘Culinary Class Wars 2’, and Chef Kim Do-yoon, who gained attention as a Hidden White Spoon. Since Kang Leo actually picked Choi Kang-rok as the winner back during ‘MasterChef Korea 2’, fans can expect some sweet yet salty chemistry between the two and their 13-year history, now joined by Chef Kim Do-yoon.
Choi Kang-rok and Kim Do-yoon will also open up about how their lives have changed since appearing on ‘Culinary Class Wars 2’ and share their realistic struggles with running a restaurant. From honest thoughts on the Michelin Guide to future plans for opening new spots, they will share raw, behind-the-scenes stories from the industry.
Meanwhile, a teaser titled “A strange atmosphere flowing between Chefs Kang Leo, Choi Kang-rok, and Kim Do-yoon…” was released on Studio Lululala’s official YouTube channel on the 13th. The long-standing relationship between Kang Leo and Choi Kang-rok, combined with Chef Kim Do-yoon’s cheerful wit, has already sparked curiosity for the full episode.
