Amutda Band took the stage at KBS ‘Open Concert’, showing off their diverse charms through an era-spanning medley and a performance of ‘You Know’.
The group kicked things off with a medley featuring ‘La La La’, ‘Nocturne’, ‘Already Sad Love’, ‘Shaken Friendship’, and ‘Glass Wall’. From rock ballads to dance tracks, they heated up the atmosphere with their solid instrumental skills and perfect vocal harmony.
Guest vocalist Cha Tae-hyun then stepped in to switch up the mood with a performance of ‘Two-Lane Bridge’. The show also introduced the band members: leader and bassist Hong Kyung-min, electric guitarist Jeon In-hyuk, main keyboardist Jo Jung-min, second keyboardist Jo Young-soo, and drummer Kim Jun-hyun.
Next, Amutda Band poured their hearts into their first digital single, ‘You Know’, released last February. In a completely different vibe from the previous stage, the harmony between guest vocalist Cha Tae-hyun’s unique tone and the members left a deep impression.
Formed last February, the name Amutda Band signifies that they gathered simply because they love music, “without asking or questioning anything.” They are set to begin a national tour starting May 17 at the KBS Busan Hall, followed by their second concert on May 30 at the Seoul Cube Convention Center (CCC).
