Kook Dong-ho, a cast member of Netflix’s ‘Single’s Inferno 4’, has been swept up in allegations of school violence.
On the 3rd, a current lawyer, referred to as “A,” mentioned Kook Dong-ho by name on SNS, claiming to be a victim of school violence during their school days. A stated, “I was bullied by the ‘iljin’ (school bullies) during my school years,” and added, “Kook Dong-ho, the boyfriend of B who led the harassment, carried out so-called ‘confession attacks’ (confessing to me in front of others or his girlfriend and then laughing about it).”
A also expressed their pain, saying, “I heard he quit his professional job after appearing on Single’s Inferno and is now living as an influencer,” and “While he was broadcasting, I was living in hell.” They further claimed, “At the time, B placed thumbtacks on my chair during breaks and applied strong glue to my locker lock so I couldn’t open it,” and “Kook Dong-ho, who was a famous bully at school, knew about this and enjoyed it.”

A provided further details regarding Kook Dong-ho and the person identified as his partner. They wrote, “C had other students hit me on the head with a badminton racket, placed thumbtacks on my chair during breaks, and applied strong glue to my locker lock so I couldn’t open it.”
A stated, “One person lives as an influencer, and the other works at a law firm representing victims similar to me. How long must the victim endure this?” and added, “It is my role to silently work as a lawyer specializing in victims.”
A continued, “I already received a call from Kook Dong-ho’s agency. They said they have no acquaintance with me. Isn’t that obvious? Would a perpetrator even remember the victim?” A then requested that anyone who knows Kook Dong-ho was a famous bully in that area to send them a direct message.

However, the truth of these claims has not yet been confirmed. Since A revealed the real name, malicious comments have been flooding Kook Dong-ho’s SNS, and reactions online are mixed, with some saying, “A lawyer revealed the name,” and others asking, “Is this true?”
Regarding this, Netflix stated on the 4th, “This is not a matter we can confirm.” Kook Dong-ho’s side has not yet released an official statement. Kook Dong-ho, a certified public accountant and graduate of Korea University, gained popularity after appearing in the Netflix dating show ‘Single’s Inferno 4’ released last year.
