ZEROBASEONE is returning with an even more sophisticated musical world!
After debuting as a 9-member group, ZEROBASEONE is making a fresh start as a 5-member lineup consisting of Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook following the conclusion of their project period.
On May 4, ZEROBASEONE (Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Park Gunwook) unveiled the tracklist for their sixth mini album, “Ascend-“.
According to the revealed tracklist, the 6th mini album consists of seven tracks in total, including the title track “TOP 5”, as well as “Intro.”, “V for Vision”, “Customize”, “Exotic”, “Changes”, and “Zero to Hundred”.
The title track “TOP 5” is a dance-pop and contemporary R&B song that captures ZEROBASEONE’s own minimalism. It is a modern reinterpretation of 2000s dance pop, blending groovy and sexy hip-hop rhythms with bold, fantastic lyrics.
Fans are especially curious about the track “Customize”, as it is Park Gunwook’s first self-composed song. Since this is the first time he has been credited as a songwriter since debut, expectations for his musical growth are soaring.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE’s 6th mini album “Ascend-” will be released on May 18 at 6 PM through various online music sites.
